CLOTHING / EQUIPMENT:
Clothing for Wushu Forms
Participants should be clothed in long trousers and a Wushu coat or a T-shirt of their
school. The Wushu coat shouldn't contain any hard, synthetic,
wooden or metal buttons / zippers / ornaments, and it should be closed during the match.
The participant is not allowed to wear jewelry during the match. Personal hygiene
should be taken care of: clean clothing, short nails, etc.
Obligatory Protective Gear for the Semi-Contact Competition
Participants in the Semi-Contact Competition are obliged to wear well-fitting foot
protectors and hand protectors of soft material. No boxing gloves! A head protector
is obligatory as well. In -145 cm categories, chest protectors have to be worn.
Boys must wear a tok (crotch protector) underneath their trousers.
The protective gear has to be in good shape. It shouldn't be taped off.
