Martial Arts Gala 'Muscles for Muscles' is organized by Patrick van Neerden. Patrick professionally works with youth in the Dutch city Zwolle. He's convinced of the positive effects martial arts can have on youth: "I want to show that martial arts have a lot more to offer than how to eliminate an opponent. I want to show the beauty and versatility of martial arts." 'Muscles for Muscles' is named after a Dutch foundation directed towards children that suffer from diseases of their muscle system, e.g. muscular dystrophy. For the gala evening children with a physical disability will be specifically invited. Since the gala aims to raise money for the foundation 'Muscles for Muscles', the demonstrators have agreed to forego on their usual fees.
